All, we just received this message from Green Dreams:
Your turf care treatment is scheduled for Wednesday, December 6th. Please have pets indoors and provide access to any locked areas. If the weather (or another delay) does not allow us to spray, we will come out on the next weather permitting day. You will know application is complete when a yard marker has been put in the yard. Application number seven is as follows:

The 2017 Nominating Committee consists of HOA Members Mike Shanahan (Chairman), Peter
Effertz, Tom Weirich, and Dr. Curtis Brandon Sr. The Committee hereby nominates the
following slate of candidates for election by the HOA membership to serve the two open
Director seats for the term from January 1, 2018 – December 31, 2019.
Steven MacLauchlan (incumbent Director, Vice President)
I am Steven MacLauchlan, and I'm interested in continuing to serve in my capacity as a
director on the Townes of Ridgefield HOA board. My background is in consulting,
specifically, data management. Currently I am the director of data consulting services for
a local consulting firm. I have served on the board since its inception, and have helped
navigate the pitfalls of a new community organization. In that time, I have very much
enjoyed working with the other directors, and strongly feel that the board is on the path to
success. I try to approach every challenge from a practical standpoint, manage risk well,
and adhere to my guiding principal as it relates to the board: We serve only the
homeowners, and our mandate is to maximize home values. Everything else is
extraneous. I joined the board initially to ensure the board did not turn into a petty
dictatorship, but instead serves with purpose, integrity, and rationality. I hope you'll
consider voting for me!
T. J. Perry (incumbent Director, Secretary)
Hello! My name is TJ Perry and I’d like to continue to serve the community as best I can
on the board of directors. For the last 6 years I’ve been the owner of a marketing business
that deals almost exclusively with home builders throughout Virginia and Maryland. I’m
also a Real Estate agent with Berkshire Hathaway and focus mainly on the Short
Pump/Glen Allen area. As a director on the board one of my primary responsibilities is to
ensure that the value of our homes continue to rise. As someone with a great deal of
knowledge about real estate I’ve done my best to offer guidance that will keep us on track
to do that based on current market trends and information. In my second term I would
like to promote more “best bang-for-your-buck” improvements to our neighborhood that
would reduce maintenance costs, promote community engagement, and improve the look
and feel of our common areas.
As permitted by the Townes of Ridgefield Bylaws, any member may make a nomination from
the Annual Members’ Meeting floor prior to the election.
We hope to see everyone there!
